Methodex Infres Ltd, New Delhi, is one of the major companies engaged in designing and manufacturing document shredders. It has recently launched Shredswift, a high volume document shredder. This is an efficient and very silent shredder, which meets the demand for shredding all types of documents including computer printouts. The capacity of Shredswift is 40-45 sheets at a time. It uses single phase 2 HP geared AC induction motor of international repute. The motor has safety-tested overload protection and thermal cut-off facility. Emergency stop facility is also provided for safety. The shredder is provided with reverse operation feature to overcome jamming problem. It can be accommodated in a small corner of the office and can be operated from normal 15A socket. It can be used as central facility for shredding, has castors for mobility, and can run continuously for hours together. The company has excellent sales and service network.
