P G Electronics offers Heavy Duty Shaft Encoders, EN-801P. It provides resolutions of up to 10,000 ppr. It is required where the cable lengths are more than 50 meters or even up to 150 meters. It also solves the electronics and heat dissipation problem. It is mechanically suitable for installation in place of Huebner Tachos. It has electrically superior characteristics to cater to the needs of long lines of cable and higher currents. The encoders are equipped with HTL logic. The robust construction takes into account the heat dissipation problem and also protection from falling objects. The shaft has high admissible thrust capabilities. The encoder is suitable to work to give 60mA output per channel at temperatures maximum up to 70?C.
