Heatless compressed air dryers

Heatless compressed air dryers from GEM Equipments, Coimbatore, are designed with two adjacent towers each containing desiccant fitted to a steel frame. The entire cycle is fully automatic in operation wherein when one tower is on drying duty, reactivation and pressurisation progresses in the other tower automatically. The water vapour absorbed by the first tower during the cycle is removed by means of a purge orifice. To avoid downstream pressure fluctuations, a short re-pressurisation period occurs during which the tower assumes line pressure prior to change over to drying duties.
