Heated hose

Heated hose finds application in gas analyzer sampling, hot melt transfer, petroleum products, chemical transfer, food processing, etc, where in the product inside the process tube (part of heated hose) needs to be maintained at critical temperatures to avoid condensation of the gas or temperature drop in the fluid. Its major application is in gas analyzer sampling segment in carrying the samples from the stack/chimney to the gas analysing instrument. It is essential that none of the constituent of the gas sample condenses before the sample conditioning for analysing, else, the analysis would be erroneous. Further condensation of gas will result in acid formation (H2SO4) and will corrode the instrument. Heated hose is a better option for the following advantages over conventional methods of heat tracing the process tube: available with different options of tracer and thermal insulation to suit various requirements; more flexible as is constructed with an outer jacket which is corrugated/braided; in-built temperature sensor provided with suitable external connection for precise temperature control; installation time is minimised with connections, as per customers requirement; and custom built to suit process requirements.
