Vimal Chrome-Tech has over 25 years of extensive experience in hard chrome plating rolls of various sizes and base materials. The company specialises in hard chrome plating of: hardened polishing rolls, calender rolls, chilling rolls, goddet rolls, applicator rolls, idler rolls, tie-bar, screw, T-die, etc. Hard chrome plating capacity: 1524 mmØ x 2000 mm (L) or 900 mmØ x 6000 mm (L) or 200 mmØ x 10000 mm (L), 10 tonne weight capacity. The company can also rectify pin holes, pits, indentations, depressions, basic defects in the base metal/chrome plating layer, using special local repair techniques thereby salvaging the hard chrome plated part. Major advantages of hard chrome plating are: hardness without distortion of the work piece; wear resistance corrosion resistance; low co-efficient of friction; anti adhesive behaviour; resistance to most chemical corrosion; and no tarnishing or oxidation at high temperature.
