Elesa and Ganter offers “SAN” Handles for Antimicrobial protection. These handles provide effective sanitisation and prolonged hygiene against unwanted microbes and bacteria. Developed thanks to Elesa+Ganter research in association with plastic manufacturing companies, the products in the SAN line prevent bacteria, mould and mildew from depositing and forming, while ensuring preventive hygiene. The antimicrobial additives that destroy microbe cell walls or cause cellular lysis are a mix of silver ions on an inorganic ceramic base, free of chemicals, antibiotics or pesticides that might deposit on the operator’s hands. Frequent hot washing cycles with soaps and solvents do not alter the antimicrobial characteristics over time, further guaranteeing use of these products on medical equipment, machinery for the food and pharmaceutical industries, equipment for the restaurant industry and for urban furnishings.
