Signals And Systems offers Hand held computers - DMRI 10xx Series 1006, 1008 and 1010. These are cost effective, low power consumption, user friendly, intelligent tools for downloading energy meter data, bar code scanning (in conjunction with a scanner), and operation with a portable printer, etc. Powered by a 80C386 EX processor, these hand held computers (HHC) have memory storage from 1.5 to 8 MB, dual redundant battery for data retention, choice of alphanumeric or graphic LCD displays, sealed membrane keys, two RS 232 Serial COM ports and RTC. Lightweight, rugged, industrially qualified, the HHCs are designed to withstand harsh industrial environments with no degradation of performance. A fast charger is provided. Typically, applications are developed in C language and the object files (exe) are ported on the HHC for execution. DMRI l0xx Series are used as a common meter reading instrument (CMRI) for all electronic tri vector meters. Optical probes for downloading data are optional supply. Typical applications include ETVM reading, field computer, programmable test vector generation and a presetter for guided systems/munitions.
