GRIPPER FEEDS

Suku Coil Handling offers Gripper Feeds. It is a high speed precision gripper feed. It is a new age feeding system to fulfil the demands of increasing the production and decreasing the recurring expenses in sheet metal component making industry. It has the perfect solution to problems of feeding medium and high speed press, due to its simple adjustment, system and the precision of its movements and remarkable performance. It is available in four models (Model No- Width-Stroke Length-Thickness-Speed in max stroke/min): Suku 5A-10-130 mm-5-130 mm-0.1-2.5 mm-650; Suku 8A-15-205 mm-5-200 mm-0.1-2.5 mm-500; Suku 12A-32-310 mm-10-130 mm-0.2-3.0 mm-400; and Suku 16A-32-410 mm-10-400 mm; 0.2-3.0 mm-300. Accessories include: standard transmission - one 90° gearbox, one connecting shaft and one rubber-coupling; transmission for speed over than 400 strokes/min - one 90° gearbox and its support, one connecting shaft, one flexible coupling and one angle setting coupling; cascade roll basket to hold the strip on the entry side, the strip radius is designed according to the feeder capacity; mounting bracket to be fixed to the press; central lubrication system to be connected to the press pump; central lubrication unit with manually operated pump; and torque overload safety coupling. Features: accurate and easy pitch adjustment; accuracy to the tune of ±25 microns, obtainable with piloting; grippers made of carbide to give life long service; all rotating parts fitted with antifriction bearings; high speed of up to 650 strokes per minute; roller cam for pilot release setting; micrometer pitch setting arrangement provided; silent in operation -no air required; trouble free in operation; mechanically synchronised with the press thus avoiding feeding mismatch at high speeds; drive from press crankshaft to the feeder is fitted with an overload safety coupling; hardened gears provided in the right angle gearbox for long life; stock buckling guides for thin material; easy setting for strip thickness.
