GOODS LIFT

Usha Hydraulics offers a new type of Goods Lift, ideally suited for handling heavy goods. This new design using a hydraulic system is a totally self-contained unit that can be installed within a day. The equipment does not require any kind of special structure or columns in the building as required in conventional elevators since it does not have any machine room. However, it has a limitation and hence only a maximum height of 10 m is available at present. Another advantage of this kind of elevator is that all the four sides of the elevator floor can be kept open to facilitate loading operation from all four directions. Hence in the closed position the elevator becomes a part of the floor and normal movement of men and material can be carried out. The entire mechanism is below the platform itself. A lighter design of such self-supporting hydraulic elevators can be manufactured ideally suited for one or two floor bungalow applications.
