GLAND PACKINGS

HMS Engineering offers Gland Packings. It is ideal for high temperature and high pressure environments. It withstands temperature extremes from cryogenic to 2600°C. It is highly flexible. Features include: chemically inert with exception to some strong oxidising agents; laminar structure enables high degree of expansion, retains flexibility over lifetime, provides prefect seal; self lubricating no filler or binder required; fire safe, dissipate heat preventing damage to mating surfaces from hot-spots; and does not stick to even industrial strength adhesives thus enabling easy removal and cleaning from surfaces.
