Geared synchronous & stepper motors

Mech-Tex offers a wide range of unidirectional and bi-directional synchronous motors coupled with various gearbox housings. Bi-directional synchronoixs motors find wide applications in motion control as reversible drive in valve actuators, dampers, recording instruments, dosing and projection devices, medical and lab equipments, CCTVs, moving displays, machine automation, automatic vending machines, label printing machines, etc. At 0. 5 RPM these motors have the following torque: MTR5 - 50 kg-cm; MTR4 - 150 kg-cm; and MTRD4 - 300 kg-cm. Reversible motors due to their extra power can be used in high torque unidirectional applications. Uni-directional synchronous motors are simple in construction and advantageous in economy. The direction is determined by means of either electrical shading or a mechanical stopper (reverse running stop). Unidirectional synchronous motors when coupled with a suitable gearbox can give speeds ranging from 1/2 sec/rev to 168 hours/rev (60, 30, 10, 6, 2 and 1 RPM, 1 RPH, 1 RPD and 1RPW are some of the speeds).
