Gearbox Reference Book, 4-Stage

Double Gear Transmission Elements offers the 4-Stage Gearbox Reference Book. This 300-page book comprises complete gearbox designs, calculations details booklet with 2 CDs, which contain more than 500 gearbox designs and 6000 part drawings. Six models are available in 500, 600, 700, 800, 900 and 1000 mm centre distances. Every centre distances contain minimum 130:1 ratio to 600:1 ratio gearbox models. Stage wise calculation details in PDF file available. Geometry information, strength information, tolerances and miscellaneous sections are all available in PDF file. Complete fabrication details with side view, section view, parts view are available in AutoCAD format in CD. Disk #2 contains extra drawings, which are not documented in the reference booklet. It is available free of cost as bonus pack. 4-stage gearboxes are mainly used for high reduction ratio hoist applications. To make compact, 4-stages gearbox designs are available as two types – straight split type and input shaft folded type. Regardless of gearbox models, the internals are all same. The housing arrangement only changes to save mounting arrangement.
