GEAR HOBBING MACHINES

Hindustan Engineering Works offers Gear Hobbing Machines, V-300. It is designed for the production of precision spur, helical, worm gears, splines, sprockets, ratchet wheels and any other form that can be hobbed. Its bed and column are of close grain casting and are well ribbed with V-type guide ways. Shafts and gears are made of alloy steels. The indexing worm wheel is of high-grade bronze material. Provision has been made to remove backlash between the indexing worm and worm gear and also between the feed screw and nut of the hob slide. Oil reservoirs are provided in the machine, which ensure thorough lubrication of gears and bearings. Other models in the range are: V-600, V-1000, V-1500, V-1800, V-2500 and tools and cutter grinder.
