Fused tungsten carbide powders

These are available as per the following chemical composition: tungsten as W, %-95.0-97.0, 95.0-97.0; total carbon as CTOT, %-2.5-3.5, 2.5-3.5; free carbon as CFREE, %-0.1 max., 0.1 max.; iron as Fe, %-0.4 max, 0.4 max; and cobalt as Co, %-0.2-0.4. The mesh size is as per ASTM/BSS standard, -20 to +600 as per requirement of the customer. Sieve analysis can be provided as per the required size on request. Principal applications: these powders have very high hardness and outstanding abrasion resistance. These are used to manufacture diamond tools for cutting of very abrasive materials. The powders are also useful to manufacture: self lubricating sintered bearings; contact material of current flow performance in arc resistance, adhesion resistance and contact resistance; brushes for application in electric motors and generators; and as friction material for brakes. Packing: 1 kg and 5 kg packing in polythene bags.
