Sunner-India Flexible Shaft Machines are portable, light in weight, and versatile. The applications range from die grinding, deburring, rust removing, rasping, buffing, mosaic/ shaft polishing, sanding stainless steel polishing, to heavy fettling, and heavy grinding. For the past 5 decades, these machines are being used in industries like foundries, forge shops, fabrication/construction yards, tools-rooms, stainless steel vessel polishing, tyre retreading and mosaic/skirt polishing projects. The yoke mounted motors have 2700 tilt in the vertical plane and 3600 swivel in the horizontal plane which along with the hand tools attached to the flexible shafts provide better accessibility to remote and difficult work sports not easily accessible to conventional the productivity and minimising operator fatigue. Sunner-India flexible shaft machines consist of motors, flexible shafts, toolholders and accessories such as right angle attachment. The motors are of totally enclosed, fan cooled, squirrel cage induction type, rated for continuous operation. The motors have high momentary overload capacity and of class E insulation. These are available for various power inputs and speeds to operate in 400/440 V/three-phase supply of 220/230 V/single-phase supply. Appropriate model to suit individual application can he selected within a speed range of 850-1200 RPM.
