Flat lapping machine

Amolik Precision machines makes flat lapping machines, L400. These are used for improving the surface finish and parallelism of components. These are available in various sizes of lapping discs from 300 mm diameter to 1500 mm diameter to suit various production requirements. Main spindle is mounted on precision spindle bearings for higher accuracy and rigidity. The accessories include: rigid frame, main spindle, speed reduction units, swarf collecting trough and tank, lapping disc, conditioning rings with guiding arms and rolls and electric motor and controls. These machines are virtually maintenance free and give trouble free performance. Small models are suitable for laboratory use and research and development work. These can also be made as per customer's specific requirement. Special machines are available for lapping very thin components (thickness less than 0.5 mm). In conventional machines thin components usually come out from the conditioning rings during lapping. Rolls are mounted on ball bearings to give smooth rotation and longer life to guide conditioning rings. Parts made from non-ferrous, ferrous, carbide and ceramic can be lapped on these machines.
