Fibreglass light poles

Sumip fibreglass light poles are constructed of polyester/epoxy resin systems and fibreglass woven rowing with more then 75% of the reinforcing fibreglass in the axial vertical plane, which increases desired rigidity and axial strength. Advantages: non conductive - fibreglass is non conductive, there by reducing the possibility of electric shocks and associated liability cost; corrosion resistant fibreglass reinforced poles will not deteriorate in salty air climates, acid rain or acid soil, which enhances long-term life and strength; low maintenance - fibreglass light poles will not rust or corrode which drastically lowers maintenance cost over the lifetime of the pole; aesthetic fibreglass pole offers semi-textured finish, which is uniform and almost as pleasant as a typical smooth finish; and performance - the design is based on NAAM and Indian standards. They are engineered to withstand sustained winds up to 150 km/h with minimum deflection. The company also manufactures fibreglass reinforced epoxy poles which combines the superior mechanical properties of tough epoxy resins and high strength E glass. Application: street lighting, highway lighting, docks/water fronts, offshore platform, corrosive area chemical plants and many others.
