Fibre Glass Poles

Lakshmi Composites Pvt Ltd has introduced Fibre Glass Poles for various applications. These are made using sophisticated multi axes Siemens controlled CNC filament winding machines and auxiliary equipment, with specialised software imported from UK. This process of making FRP poles by CNC filament winding ensures high glass fibre content as much as 65 to 70% whereas other processes may not be higher than 50 to 55%. The long continuous fibres used in filament winding along with low angles of winding increase the longitudinal strength, which is a requisite for FRP poles. The poles are finished on the outside and have UV inhibitors to prevent decay of resin over long periods of exposure to the sun. They are again coated with a polyurethane paint. All raw materials are from among the best resources in the world and the poles are built to international standards such as BS TEN 40-2-2004 and ANSI C.136-20.

Advantages of FRP poles over steel or cement poles:

• Non conductive, hence shock proof
• Corrosion resistant and hence do not form rust or decay
