EXOTHERMIC SLEEVES

Sharadaa Ceramics offers Exothermic Sleeves. The insulating sleeves with their intrinsic properties and performance, have given new thrust and dimension to the process of casting and have become a viable alternative to the conventional, unwieldy sand risers. Their volume, exothermic and insulating properties have made these feeder sleeves a natural choice of foundries across the country for stretching the solidification time of the feed metal. Advantages include: superior casting yield, casting-riser junctions free from hotspots or shrinkage cavities, smooth cast contours that reduce cutting and fettling costs, etc. Suitable for iron and steel castings, these exothermic sleeves are available in sizes ranging from 1.5" to 6" in diameter with increments of 0.5" and modulus ranging from 1.2 cm to 4.8 cm.
