Electric Cylinders, Fast Short-Stroke

Festo Controls Pvt Ltd has introduced a range of fast short-stroke Electric Cylinders, Model ADNE-LAS, eagerly awaited by users. These feature an electric drive for short strokes of up to 45 mm that is easy to commission even without programming knowledge. It works like a pneumatic cylinder, but is much more dynamic: the electric short stroke cylinder, ADNE-LAS, with integrated linear motor. This means that an electric drive for short strokes of up to 45 mm that is easy to commission even without any programming knowledge is finally available. The ADNE-LAS is optimized for dynamic movements between two end positions. In short cycle times of just 60 milliseconds, it can execute a motion cycle with advance and return strokes of 15 mm. This ready-to- install system is suitable for applications that require dynamic motion without positioning, such as ejecting work pieces, blocking motions or actuating deflectors. This electric short-stroke cylinder is thus exactly the right drive for attaching labels in the packaging industry or in small parts assembly to press small parts into place for spot welding or for checking buttons in test machines. The ready-to- install system consisting of an electric short stroke cylinder ADNE-LAS and controller CMFL makes commissioning easier. Users don’t need any programming knowledge, they simply select one of the four motion cycles, apply a start signal - and that’s all! Thanks to protection class IP 65, the drive can be installed directly in the application. The strong magnetic shielding prevents the penetration of ferrous components and machining chips.
