The critical components of any diaphragm valves are the diaphragms itself, due to its function as a dynamic seal and their continuous contact with highly valuable process media. The diaphragms form both the differential and atmospheric seal and isolates the top works from the process media. PTFE, TFM, and elastomer types are available to suit individual system requirements. These full ranges of diaphragm selections engineered to meet the exacting demands of the pharmaceutical industry. Industrial diaphragms: normal application - soft natural, butyl, synthetic butyl, EPDM, neoprene, viton; aggressive application - PTFE backed up by synthetic butyl/EPDM/viton; special application - chlorine - 3 layer (PTFE/PVDF/synthetic butyl rubber); steam - PTFE(s) backed up by rubber.
