Drupe Engineering Corporation"s crossed roller slides offer designers additional flexibility in their choice of ready-to-install components for precision linear motion. The crossed roller slides, when compared to the ball slide products of equal size, offer higher load carrying capacity and, when operating at high cycling rates or with shock and over handing loads, improved performance. Most importantly, the crossed roller slides provide high accuracy and repeatability. Their overall performance is better than ball slides especially in applications where loads must be moved in compact assemblies. Further these slides can be made lightweight using aluminium carriage and aluminium base.
