Met Tech Enterprises offers core shooters for shell/hot box process for vertically parted core boxes, Model VCS 400 VP. These machines are suitable for a variety of cores like inlet and exhaust manifolds, water jackets, barrel cores, etc. The cores are shot from top and have very high density. Mandrel arrangement is provided from bottom. Loose piece on front and rear can be provided. The machines are of robust construction. The right hand heater plate can be provided with a swing down arrangement to unload the core on a core conveyor. Ejection arrangement is provided on both halves of the core box. The blow plate and shoot head is water cooled. The sand magazine is travelling type. Fully automatic cycle control with programmable logic controller is provided. A manual override is provided.
