Archana Enterprises offers Biomass Briquettes – a non-conventional source of energy, eco-friendly, renewable in nature, non polluting and economical. It's made through binder less technique without use of any type of chemical so it is 100% natural. Features: ideal fuel due to eco friendly and renewable energy fuel; economical and cheaper than other solid fuels, i.e., coal and wood; higher thermal calorific value around 4000 kcal/kg; pollution free because there is no sulphur or any hazardous material; lower ash content 2 to 5% – there is no fly ash when burn; consistent high burning efficiency due to the low moisture; contain high density and higher fix carbon value; easy for transportation, feeding and combustion due to unique shape; combustion is more uniform compared to other coal; and demandable market due to high rise in fossil fuels price. Specifications: raw materials – sugarcane bagasse, saw dust, groundnut shell, agro/forest waste, etc; size – dia 90 or 60 mm, length 6 in to 2 ft; moisture – less than 8%; sulphur – 0%; ash – 3-10%; caloric value – net 3800-4100, gross 4000-4500 CV per kg; carbon – 40-55%; oxygen – 35-45%; non-biomass foreign material impurities – less than 1%; high specific density – 1200 kg/m3; bulk density – 800 kg/m3. Companies using biomass briquettes as alternate fuel, can claim Carbon Credit benefit.
