The company's Battery Separator Division offers a range of high-performance Battery Separators including its unique Hi-SepTM Battery Separator Material, which enhances battery performance under very demanding field conditions. These battery separator solutions are built with microprocessor precision and the materials and processes are geared to offer the right separator for unique battery requirements. All separators are made in stainless steel state-of-the-art plant and are approved by some of the biggest manufacturers of lead acid batteries for both SLI and back-up power applications. The Hi-Sep range of glass and synthetic fibre-based battery separators is a uniquely engineered composite material designed as an alternative to currently used PVC and PE separators. Product can be offered as pouches or leafs and also in roll form as required. Hi-Sep battery separators are manufactured in a highly automated micro-processor controlled environment using raw materials carefully chosen for maximum performance in the electro-chemical environment of a flooded lead-acid cell. The complete production line is made of stainless steel to eliminate contamination and ensure high product purity. Hi-Sep confers exceptional cranking power and charge acceptance and discharge performance as well as extended life to SLI and tubular battery systems.
