Adhesive Dispenser

Recently launched at the Apex exhibition in Las Vegas, Ovation Products’ brand new and award-winning Stinger™ low volume adhesive dispenser is currently attracting attention industry-wide. Offering unmatched equipment utilisation, Stinger enables dual function capability from a single screen printer. This modular dispensing technology transforms traditional screen printing platforms into dual-function systems, enhancing the capability of the machine by enabling a dispensing process on board the printing system and, thus, saving valuable floor space and reducing equipment costs. Easily integrated into the screen printer alongside the machine’s vision system, the Stinger dispensing module operates just as an in-line dispenser would: once the printed circuit board is screen printed, it is lowered down to vision height, where Stinger can then accurately dispense adhesive or paste using industry standard materials cartridges. Stinger dispenses through a patented consumable auger valve technology contained within the system module. Enabling simple adhesive changeover and eliminating the need for system cleaning, the removed valve is re-usable, speeding up product changeover even further. Minimising manual intervention to prevent production errors and streamline dispensing performance, Stinger is compatible with a wide variety of print platforms for the ultimate in manufacturing flexibility.
