Tin-Copper Lead-Free Alloys

Antrix Associates offers Tin-Copper Lead-Free Alloy, SCS7. This enhanced tin-copper lead free alloy is highly recommended to directly replace existing Sn/Cu0.7 solders in the high temperature wave soldering applications. For wave soldering applications, the solder can be used at 250 to 260°C, depending on PCB design and complexity. Conveyor speed can be set up to a maximum of 1.8 m/min for single-sided boards and recommended to set at between 1.2 m/min and 1.6 m/min for double-sided boards. Recommended preheat temperature is 90 to 120°C on-board, dependent on flux activation temperature, machine design and board complexity. For dipping, it is recommended to use at temperatures >260°C, depending on applications.
