Single-Phase Wall-Mounted Dc Drives

Auto Power's highly versatile full-wave half-converter assures best motor performance DC Drives. It is constructed in totally enclosed, ventilated, rugged MS CRCA sheet with powder coated body. The converter configuration consists of two thyristors with 1000 PIV devices assuring reliability. Protection is provided by metal oxide suppressors across the AC line, I fuse protection for peak load, fault currents, electronic current limits, current trips and field fail. Two-position illuminated AC line switch and potentiometer are for speed adjustment for control console and drive On, field fail and current trips. Visual indications are provided on the front, with voltage and current meters. A 10% line variation and 3-4% speed regulation by armature feedback gives better performance characteristics. These drives are available in ratings from 0.25 Hp to 7.5 HP. User areas are rubber, plastics, paper, textile, steel, iron, cable, paper tube, winding and slitting industries, as also special purpose machines.
