Silver Brazing Alloys

Silver Alloys offers Silver Brazing Alloys. These are cadmium bearing grades (general purpose) alloys. These silver alloys division are mainly focussed on producing silver brazing alloys in the form of strips wires and performs. Silver 50 to Silver 43 are the lowest melting point silver brazing alloys available. They have excellent flow characteristics. A high joint strength can be obtained with silver 50. Silver 40 to silver 30 are normally considered to be general purpose alloys. They offer good flow characteristics and are suitable for majority of applications. Silver 20 and silver 25 have good filler forming properties. Their wide melting range limits their applications. Silver 5Cd is used where alloy having higher melting point and better strength than soft solder is required. The company also offers general purpose high performance brazing alloys for the majority of assemblies, which offer excellent compromise between melting range, mechanical properties and flow properties.
