Silver Brazing Alloys

Saru Silver Alloys offers Silver Brazing Alloys. These are cadmium free grade silver alloys that are mainly focussed on producing silver brazing alloys in the form of strips, wires and performs. These alloys in this group are intended primarily as substitutes for the cadmium bearing alloys. They are all developed from the silver copper zinc system, which in many cases has been modified by a small addition of tin. Silver 85 is for brazing stainless, stellite, and complex carbide for high temperature service. Silver 72 is for ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. Silver 60 and 61 are particularly suitable for joining electrical components requiring high electrical conductivity and give a close colour match of silver. Also used for brazing silver goods. Silver 60 Sn is especially suitable for fluxless protective atmosphere furnace brazing of small parts. Silver 55 Sn is for use on any steels, copper and copper alloys, nickel and nickel alloys. Silver 56 is used by the dairy and food industry. After brazing it gives a closer match with metals such as stainless steel. Silver 50, silver 45 and silver 43 are widely used for electrical applications and in joining dissimilar metals. Silver 45 Sn is low temperature, free flowing alloy. Silver 40 Sn, silver 30 Sn are free flowing alloys for ferrous, non-ferrous and dissimilar metals with good fluidity. Silver 30, 25 and silver 12 are least silver of this family.
