Dura Magnets offers Permanent Magnets. It can offer impressive flux density at an economical price. It also boasts the lowest temperature coefficient of any commercial magnet material (0.02% per °C) allowing excellent stability over a wide temperature range. It has experienced renewed interest in recent years in such temperature sensitive applications. It is available in different grade, generally the grades vary in its cobalt content which ranges from zero to forty per cent. It can be produced in wide variety of shapes and sizes. Orientation is achieved during heat treatment, by cooling the product from a temperature of about 1090°C at a controlled rate, within a magnetic field which conforms to preferred direction of magnetisation. It is supplied in demagnetised state; the user can magnetise after fitting it in the final product assembly. Applications: watt hour meter (kWh meters); moving coil instruments; electrical measuring instruments; hall-effect and MR-based automotive requirements; electronic sensors, instruments; current to pneumatic pressure converters (I to P converters); inspection instruments ("V" blocks, dial stands); electro-permanent magnetic chucks; drain plugs, door holding, lifting, catching; proximity sensors; helium leak detectors, and many more.
