Hascor Metals & Powders offers a range of Ferro Alloys and Metal Powders. The group operates 2 production plants in Tamos – Tampico, Mexico specialised in the production of ferro alloys and metal powders for the welding electrode, hard facing and cored wire industries. The production is under the ISO 9001-2008 certification approved by the quality department of Perry Johnson. Sizes available for the welding and hard facing industry: 20 mesh, 40 mesh, 50 mesh, 60 mesh or 80 mesh. Any other size can be produced upon request. For the cored wire industry the company offers special sizes of 10 x 325 mesh or 16 x 325 mesh. Packing: standard packing 1 MT big bag on pallet; also available in super sacks, and drums of 250 or 500 kg, paper bag of 25 or 50 kg. Chemical composition: raw materials are selected as per specific needs. Rutile: Hascor is one of the leading agents/distributors of Sierra Rutile Limited (SRL), Sierra Leone. The SRL mine is well known as the world’s largest and highest grade rutile deposit. Other powders: other powders available are: LC FeCr, FeV, FeMo, Cr metal, rutile sand, rutile flour, sodium titanate, low phosphorous HC FeMn, chromium carbide, low carbon Si Mn, ferro boron, ferro niobium, fluorspar, feldspar, carboxymethyl cellulose, carbonates (several), ilmenite and iron powder.
