Suspension Magnet

Everest offers a powerful electromagnet to be suspended over belt conveyors. It exerts a powerful magnetic attraction force on the tramp iron embedded in coal, limestone, ore, slag, bagasse and such other materials. The magnetic attraction force reaches up to 450 mm inside the burden depth and pulls out the tramp iron such as pipe ends, channels, angles, welding rods, and bars. The magnet is designed to withstand a temperature up to 150?C. The control panel is designed for single or 3-phase power supply depending on the requirement. The magnet's working face is a thick SS sheet; the rest of the body is made from high permeability steel. For low operating heights, a permanent magnet can also be supplied. The magnets used are of high power, high coercivity type which are guaranteed for life.
