Steering Housing, Differntial Housing

Starting in 1991, with the aim of a state-of-the-art precision machining facility, Solo Manufacturing (P) Ltd has grown to 4 companies, 3 plants in Gurgaon and 28 CNC machines. It is engaged in turning, machining and grinding and has a team of over 120 dedicated personnel. While the company manufactures and exports CNC machined parts and precision-machined parts, the first CNC machine came tooled for plug pinion bearing, a machined pressure die component of Sona Koyo Steering Systems Ltd. Solo claims to be the sole supplier of this component even today. ISO/TS 16949:2002 certified, Solo’s product range consists of manual and power steering housings, valve housings for power steering systems, differential housings, machined aluminium die cast components like capsules used in collapsible steering systems, switch housings, plug pinions (top plugs), motor covers, pump inlet/ outlet covers, etc. Solo also machines forged components like differential gear blanks, corona gear blanks, spindles, etc. Solo claims to be working along the lines of Toyota Production System to achieve maximum efficiency across all departments in the organisation. Solo’s clientele includes Maruti, Tata, M&M, Toyota Kirloskar, Hyundai, Minda and Sona Group.
