It is used for alignment of rotating machineries likely pumps, compressors, DG sets, ID/ FD fans, and turbines, etc. These shims are available in 8 standard sizes of 5 different thicknesses ranging from 0.05 to 1.00 mm. These are available burr and dent free with its thickness etched on it for easy identification. These shims help in achieving optimum alignment resulting in breakdown less, noise and vibration free running, increasing the machinery life and productivity.
