Rubber Buffers for Mounting Pulsating Loads

Elesa and Ganter offers Rubber Buffers for the elastic mounting of components under pulsating loads. The product range includes rubber and end-stop buffers. The GN 351 rubber buffers are suitable for the elastic mounting of machine units such as motors, compressors and pumps. These rubber buffers are simple and low-priced construction elements. Their resilience, robust design and their broad range of different sizes and dimensions allow these buffers to be used for any kind every application. GN 352 rubber buffers and the GN 352 end-stop buffers absorb most of the kinetic energy generated on impact. They act as dampers and prevent damaging shock and rebound. They act as well as sound dampers. The parabolic shape of GN 353 end-stop buffers generates progressive resilient characteristics: impact and shock effects are absorbed more gentle. GN 352 and GN 353 buffers are used as end-stop buffers, for instance for conveyor trolleys. GN 352 end-stop buffers can also be used as levelling feet. All buffers are made of highly resilient and tear-resistant natural rubber with a hardness of 40 (soft), 55 (medium) and 70 (hard) (Shore ± 5). The cover plates of the buffers are made of steel and vulcanised into or onto the buffers. Vulcanisation guarantees the ultimate strength between rubber and steel. The exposed surfaces are prime-coated or zinc-plated. The threaded inserts and/or screws made of zinc-plated, blue chromated steel are integrated and protected against torsion.
