Rotating Union For Continuous Casting Machine

Deublin of USA manufactures rotating unions. The 2000 Series model of Deublin is the latest in rotating union technology for introduction of water into and outside the rolls of continuous casting machines. A totally redesigned housing accommodates space for an extra-long composite sleeve bearing that does not need lubrication and eliminates metal to metal contact. The use of silicon carbide seals safely mounted in an SS seal carrier allows the union to work in hostile conditions such as water hammering. The balanced sealing design enables the union to run easily with less friction and wear, and hence increases seal life and the union's life. These unions are available in monoflow as well as duoflow versions.
