Power Chucks

The Jaws Manufacturing Co offers a range of Power Chucks. The two major types of power chucks are the close power chucks and hollow high speed power chucks. The body is made of alloy steel-robust construction, the hard jaws, base jaws, wedge are case hardened and ground to suit customer needs. The major advantages of these chucks are that: clamping and unclamping time is saved; higher rate of material removal is possible; keying time saved, hence operator fatigue is also eliminated; clamping and unclamping force can be uniformly controlled by adjusting the air/hydraulic pressure; chuck can be opened and cleaned on the spindle itself; and the self locking system provided ensures firm grip on the component, thus preventing accidents, in case of failure of power supply.
