PLUNGER TIPS

Tejas Precision Products offer Plunger Tips. It is used for pressure die-casting. It is made from cast iron or H13 steel or beryllium copper. The materials are so selected to have longer shot life and are used internationally. The plunger tips are developed by metallurgists and machined to precision dimensions. H13 steel will give almost 3 to 4 time shot life as compared to cast iron and beryllium copper will give about 10 times shot life of cast iron. These materials, by virtue of their long life, reduce machine downtime enormously for plunger tip changeover and thus saving time for the user.
