Impellers

Presto ChemTech offers Impellers, SA. These super impellers could be customized with a range of HP, output speeds, shaft lengths, and shaft diameters, to suit user application. The impellers are made in any commercially available metallic construction or are offered with suitable lining. Super impellers are either installed on new vessel or on existing vessel. The super impeller is available in any metallic construction. Substantial savings in capital investment is obtained due to lower size of gearbox, motor and reduction in shaft diameter. These are for axial flow requirement in industrial agitators. These impellers are designed based on process parameters and bulk fluid velocity ensuring better process solution at lower power consumption. The standard SA310 range of super impellers provides axial flow for the liquid movement with less radial and rotational flow than standard pitched blade turbines, flat blade turbines and paddles. In fluid agitation the direction as well as the magnitude of the velocity is important. The turbulent flow pattern of a typical flat-blade turbine is as shown in the figure (left). The flow pattern produced by the SA310 range of super impeller in a typical industrial unit is as shown in the figure (right). The slow of SA310 super impeller is primarily the axial type. This flow pattern is significant as it imparts very low power consumption while improving the pumping of liquid. It also sweeps solid suspension off the reactor bottom.
