Mackeil Ispat & Forging, the flagship company of the Mackeil group, manufactures various forged and machined components for various industrial applications. Infrastructure: forge plant – 3500-tonne and 1000-tonne open die oil hydraulic, fully CNC automated press with rail bound manipulator imported from South Korea; furnace – India’s first state-of-the-art fully gas fired PLC controlled and SCADA monitored combustion management system; forging range – 200 kg to 35-tonne (single piece) from VAD grade ingot with annual production capacity of 40000 tonnes; eco-friendliness – the entire project is a green field pollution free nurturing environment; and R&D and quality control – with an aim to supply world-class products, the plant is equipped with an expanding array of state-of-the-art testing equipment with an advanced R&D facility. The product range: round shaft/rolls, square shafts, rectangular bars, shaped forgings, blocks, pipe forgings, hollows, and ring forgings. Application industries: power (nuclear, hydro, thermal, wind), oil and gas, sugar, cement, heavy engineering, etc., defence, railways, steel, and gear industries. Located at the industrial hub of Durgapur, the company is a mere 5 km from Durgapur Railway Station and 160 km from Kolkata International Airport. Built in an area of a whopping four lakh fifty thousand square metre, the plant is equipped with cutting-edge facilities to meet the exacting demands of today’s industry.
