Compact Rotary Table

Multiple HRT 210 SPS are said to fit any multispindle machining centre with a spindle distance of 14" or more. Specifically designed with a narrow footprint for use with multispindle mills and pallet systems, the HRT 210 SP accommodates parts on an 8.27" (210 mm) table. The 8" chucks can be easily mounted to the roluy table"s six, standard T-slots. Accuracy is ?15 arc seconds with repeatability of 10 arc seconds. Resolution is 0.001 degrees and maximum feed rate is 70 degrees per second. Rotarv tables decrease cycle time by providing versatility flexibility in positioning the workpiece. For example, with the rotary table a part can be rotated into position, instead of requiring extra handling to re-position a part for each machining operation. The HRT 210 SP provides true simultaneous fourth-axis cutting, (the A axis is fully interpolated with X, Y, Z axes) when mounted on a Haas vertical or horizontal machining centre. Mounted on a non-Haas machine, the HRT 210 SP allows non-interpolated rotation by using an M-function to initiate positioning. Accuracy and reliability of the rotary table are increased with features, such as a 1.5 HP DC servo with 90:1 gear ration, hardened and CNC-ground worm shaft with preloaded angular contact bearings and precision-ground, hardened table. Backlash is reduced through the use of a CNC-hobbed "deep-tooth engagement" worm gear.
