CNC Live Centers with Replaceable Tips
CNC Live Centres have heavy-duty bearing arrangement that is designed for high-load, high-RPM conditions prevailing on CNC machines. For this, three different bearings are used with effective preloading. These bearings are lubricated for life using speciality grease. To prevent entry of coolant and machining dust, an effective labyrinth type seal is used. All these unique features contribute towards reliable, dependable and economical solutions for work-support at tailstock end. It helps to get work done more efficiently on lathe machines, copy-turning machines, and CNC turning machines. TIP (Bullet) wear during machining the jobs with centre support, is an inherent problem associated with every live centre. This causes higher run-out and damage to centre holes of the jobs machined. Moreover, productivity is reduced due to higher downtime. A special Allen Key is provided for tip replacement. During the replacement the bearing arrangement is not disturbed.
