Anti-Vibration Mountings, Cushy Foot

Louisons Engineering Works offers a range of anti-vibration mountings that improve the efficiency of machines by eliminating shocks and vibrations. Advantages of these mountings are: no foundation or grounding required, immediate commissioning, plant mobilisation, absorbs shock and its impacts, lower noise level, free from external shock loads and vibration, gives longer life for the machine, foundation greatly reduced, and installation on the machine takes only few minutes. Cushy Foot mountings are available in three sizes “A”, “B” and “S” series, and they are selected according to load capacity of the machine, considering the compression, deflection and shear. If these mountings are properly fitted, efficiency of the machines can be improved to a great extent by eliminating shocks and vibrations. Traditional methods of grounding the machines can be avoided. These mountings have applications in diesel gensets, blowers, compressors, machine tools, pumps, engine test beds, food processing machines, etc. The rubber portion is fully covered with grade castings to avoid contamination. Bottom friction pad is totally flexible and hence suspension is possible.
