3-Axis Machining Unit With Turret Head

Vogtland GmbH introduces a 3-axis machining unit with tool movement into the X, Y and Z axes. The turret head comprises six tools with HSK 63 spindle nose. The chip-to-chip time amounts to 1.5 second at 5,000 RPM. The maximum number of revolutions for operating spindle amounts to 12,000 RPM. The machining unit has been developed as a module for special purpose machine tools and transfer lines, but can also be used as a machine itself.
