ABE Accurate Balancing Equipments offers Sound Level Meter. Measurement of sound level in the environment invariably brings the complexity of widely fluctuating sound pressure levels. The meter saves the dB data in its memory and transfers it to a PC over the serial port. Operation: making measurements with Model 2001 is extremely simple. The operation of the sound level meter is completely menu driven with only 6 keys. Calibration is also automated via the internal software. The factory default calibration can be restored in the event of a calibrator not being available. Measure mode: the 2001 can be set up for continuous measurement or for 1sec measurement. The simultaneously measured parameters are SPL, Lmax, Lmin, SEL, Leq and elapsed duration, either with A, C or Lin weighing, along with date and start time. This data can be stored for retrieval at a later time. The 2001 (with 256KB RAM) can store about 1000 such files and still have enough memory to log data at 1sec intervals for 24hrs. The internal rechargeable battery, backs up the memory with a back up time of 500 hours, when the batteries are fully charged.
