Sound Level Meter

Ashish Trading Corporation offers a state-of-the-art sound meter, Model 4001. The display is made up of 18 mm (0.7") LCD, 3&189; digits. Frequency weighting networks are designed to meet IEC 651 Type 2. In A weighting, the characteristic is simulated as Human Ear Listing response. It is typically used for making the environmental sound level measurement. The C weighting characteristic is near the Flat response, typically suitable for checking the noise of machinery (QC check) and knowing the sound pressure level of the tested equipment. Features include: condenser microphone for high accuracy and long-term stability; LCD display for low power consumption and clear read-out even in bright ambient light condition; Max and Hold function for storing the maximum value of display; and, warning indicator for over and under load low battery indicator. The unit has built-in adjustable VR, available for easy calibration. Optional 94 dB sound calibrator is available in Model SC-940. The unit is housed in strong ABS-plastic case and weighs just 400 g. The complete unit works on DC 9 V battery with power consumption of 6 mA approximately.
