Pulse Generator

Pulse Generator, Series SM80, has only 100 PPR resolution. Output option available is line driver, open collector, voltage. Supply voltage is only 5 V DC. It is available in 5 kHz frequency range. The manual pulse generator is a type of bi-directional incremental encoder through which it is possible to change manually the axis movement on a numerical control machine. Count can be done whether on clockwise or counter clockwise direction of rotation. Rotation position is drawn with different colours, clockwise direction on Black colour, while counter clockwise direction on Red. Generally, a complete rotation of the shaft (corresponding to 360 mechanical degrees) gives a resolution of 100 points. The pulse generator is equipped with two different types of handles, depending on speed rotation: a handle for high-speed rotation and a knob for fine positioning. A self-blocking internal mechanism fixes the gained positioning preventing from casual slips.
