Haryana-based Cygnet Systems manufactures integrating sound level meter - 2031A that has menu driven software with 6 keys.This meter has robust aluminium die cast body and is designed as per IS 9779-1981, Type 1 accuracy. A battery life meter is provided for testing the life of the internal rechargeable NiCd batteries. The life of battery is more than 10 hrs. This meter enables simultaneous computation of SPL, Lmax, Lmin, SEL, Leq and elapsed duration. These parameters can be measured either in a 1 sec mode or on a continuous basis. In the continuous mode, it can measure environmental parameters for 8-16 hours. The cumulative readings can be viewed, on the display, during the measurement period, or at the end. The display is LCD, 16 x 2 alpha numeric. The meter has AC output of selected signal with analogue output for filters.This device with a resolution of 0.1 dB has a measurement range of 34-134 dB in three ranges. This microprocessor based data logging sound level meter has 12 bit AD converter. The types of frequency weighting the product provides are A, C and linear. It enables time weighting in slow, fast and impulse mode. The standard accessories of this equipment are removable microphone, charger and windshield. This meter weighs 1,000 gms and has a dimension of 255 mm x 93 mm x 45 mm.
