Multi-Axis Machine System For Flexible Laser Material Processing

Trumpf Lasercell 1005 is a modular multi-axis machine system for flexible laser material processing, specially designed for processing bulky, flat and also three-dimensional work pieces. It represents a highly dynamic, high-precision system for 3D laser material processing. The system is of modular configuration, and can be utilised either as a universal standalone laser processing machine or as the heart of an integrated laser processing centre. Many 3D parts made from steel, galvanised steel, special steel, aluminium or titanium can only be cut out or contoured after the forming process. The laser beam is guided perpendicular to the cut contour at a constant standoff from the work piece surface, and carries out this task scratch-free and without any wear and tear. The use of high-quality, high-performance lasers means that numerous metallic materials can also be welded together via the laser beam with optimal results.
